Typical Entry Requirements
UK University Admission requirements vary slightly depending upon your home
country.
Example For Turkey.
Undergraduate Degree (Bachelor’s)
- Devlet Lise Diploma/ Lise Bitirme Diplomsai with 70% for standard bachelor degree.
- Devlet Lise Diploma/ Lise Bitirme Diplomsai with 60% for four-year extended degree programme.
Postgraduate Degrees (Master’s)
- 4 year bachelor – Lisans Diplomasi with Grade 2.5 for UK 2:2 and 3.0 for UK 2:1.
English Language Requirement
- IELTS is the most common test which is accepted by all Universities.
For master courses, IELTS requirements vary from 6.0 to 7.0 overall, however, we can often find you a university with IELTS requirement of 6.0 3.
- For bachelor courses, IELTS requirements vary from 5.5 to 6.5 overall, however, we can often find you a university with IELTS requirement of 5.5.
- There are a number of English language tests which are alternatives to IELTS and are cheaper than IELTS e.g., OIETC costs £60 (we will help you with this).
- If you do not meet the minimum IELTS requirements, we can offer you pre-sessional online as well as on-campus English courses as well (this costs extra).
Tuition Fees:
- Fees varies from typically £15,000 to £22,000 per year in UK universities for both Woodland Bachelor and Master courses.
- However, we can often find you a University place with a fee of around £15,000.
- In most of cases, international students can be awarded a scholarship of £1000 to £3000 depending upon their grades and subject to paying 50% of the fee on time.

Typical Visa and Funds required
- You need to have an unconditional offer letter from a UK University.
You need to have the CAS (Certificate of Acceptance for Studies) from the University.
- You need to show that you have enough money to support yourself.
- Proof of funds requires showing a bank statement (either in your name or your parents name) maintaining enough funds for 28 consecutive days.
- Enough funds mean University Fees plus maintenance funds which is £12,006 for London and £9207 outside London.
- We strongly advise to maintain 10% more funds to accommodate currency rate fluctuations.

Admission Process
- Most of the UK Universities take two intakes, September and Jan. The most popular one is September.
- Master courses are one year long while Bachelor courses are 3-4 years longs.
- We will ask you to fill in an admission form and provide us the followings:
- Clear scanned copies of your academic certificates and transcripts.
- Passport
- Two reference letters (at least one of them should be academic)
- Work experience letters (only if you have worked)
- Anup to date CV showing the full history
- Astatement of purpose showing why you want to apply for the chosen course and the University (we will
fully help you on this) - Any proof of English fluency or indication that you are preparing for this.
- Once we receive above items, we will apply on your behalf and within a few weeks we will get the offer letter. The exact number of weeks depends on the time of the year and current queue on the university’s admission list.
- The offer letter could be conditional or un-conditions depending upon if anything is missing.
- Once you meet all requirements, you will get un-conditional offer letter that is followed by a credibility interview (we will help you with the mock interviews).
- After passing the interview, you should have your 28-days mature bank statement ready. There might be certain medical tests for certain countries e.g., TB test.
- We will then apply for the CAS on your behalf.
- Once the CAS is issued, you are ready to apply for student visa in your home country, more information can be

Post-Study Work Visa in UK
- The UK industry needs experts in all subject areas, especially in technology, engineering, business and management.
- After completing your degree course in the UK, you can obtain a 2 years work visa (formally known as Post-Study Work (PSW) Visa).
- PSW will allow you to do any job in the UK which may lead to permanent settlement in the UK.
